Welcome to my blog! I am SO excited to begin my new adventures as a first-time first grade teacher AND blogger! Throughout my teaching career, I have turned to countless teacher blogs for inspiration, motivation, and as a way to springboard creativity when my own creative juices weren't quite flowing. This year I have decided to take the plunge and join the teacher blogger community. Hello....hello?....I'm here! I hope to use this blog as an authentic way to document much of what I encounter this school year -- the good, the bad not-so-good, and the "oops, probably not my best idea". Ha! It's going to be an adventure, a plunge, a leap, a jump.... you get the idea! FIRST grade here I come!
